Campbelltown- Koshigaya Sister Cities Association
Annual student awards for excellence in Japanese language
Wednesday 14 December 2022
6pm to 7pm
On 14 December 2022, the Association presented the annual awards to students studying Japanese at high schools in the Campbelltown Local Government Area.
There are two prizes available for each school. A prize for Year 11 and a prize for Year 8/9
The high schools are:
Ambarvale High School
Ingleburn High School
John Therry Catholic College
Macquarie Fields High School
St Patrick’s College
The award recognises the performance of one or more students in Year 11 and either Year 8 or Year 9 in their Japanese language studies and extra curricular activities.
The Association, students, teachers and their families were very honoured to have Sydney-based Japanese Consul, Shinichi Murata, attend and present the awards along with Councillors Meg Oates and Rey Manoto from Campbelltown Council.
Unfortunately Ingleburn High School students were not able to attend as they were at their own school‘s presentation event that night.
