Mission Statement and Aims of The Campbelltown - Koshigaya Sister Cities Association
The Campbelltown - Koshigaya Sister Cities Association Incorporated was founded in Campbelltown in 1984. It is a not-for-profit, non-political organisation, incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act (ABN: 57 842 665 437).
The main mission of the Association is to promote common interest and mutual understanding and goodwill between the peoples of Campbelltown and Koshigaya at all levels. The activities of the Association in pursuit of these objectives are wide and varied.
The activities of the Campbelltown - Koshigaya Sister City Association are funded by membership fees and from an annual contribution from Campbelltown City Council.
The Campbelltown - Koshigaya Sister City Association aims to:
- offer interesting and informative Japan-related events to our members and to students and the general public of the Campbelltown Local Government Area
- be the central hub of Japan-related activities for Australians who live in and around the Campbelltown Local Government Area
- be an organisation where anyone interested in Japan is able to find out information about Koshigaya and Japan, and make friends with similar interests
- cooperate with other organisations with similar objectives both in Sydney, NSW and in Japan
